Atmos Energy Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

DALLAS, Texas – May 1, 2008 – Yesterday, the Board of Directors of Atmos Energy Corporation (NYSE: ATO) declared a quarterly dividend on the company’s common stock of 32.5 cents per share. The indicated annual dividend is $1.30. The dividend will be paid on June 10, 2008, to shareholders of record on May 27, 2008. This is the company’s 98th consecutive dividend.
