IRVINE, California -- April 19, 2010 -- Mimis Cafe, the All Day Fresh Cafe, announces the reopening of its Chandler location, the first restaurant to feature Mimi's Quick Cafe in addition to traditional full service dining. The new fast casual dining section, along with fresh bakery, offers a convenient solution for on-the-go guests. The restaurant will also feature a new full service bar and enhanced decor. To celebrate, Mimis Cafe invites the community to a special "Meet Me at Mimi's" morning event on Thursday, April 22, where the first 75, 18 year and older guests in line will receive gift cards ranging from $25 to $100. Dignitaries from the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce will attend the ribbon cutting ceremony, and 94.5 KOOL-FM will provide early morning entertainment and award station prizes. The event begins at 9 a.m., however guests may line up early for the gift card giveaway.
"The new services available at the Chandler location provide guests with more dining choices by expanding our bakery selection and offering more convenience for enjoying a quick breakfast and lunch or a relaxing beverage in a casual environment," said Tim Pulido, Mimis Cafe President and Chief Concept Officer.
For guests looking to relax and connect in the main dining areas, Mimis Cafe continues to offer its full menu and service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The new Mimi's Quick Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch and is located in the front part of the restaurant. Guests order from a select menu of breakfast sandwiches, freshly baked quiche, soup, salads and sandwiches, pay at the counter and dine in the Quick Cafe area. The bakery includes classic items including Mimi's fresh baked muffins and items unique to the location such as Bear Claws, Blueberry Scones and Cinnamon Twists. An espresso bar will also be available, as well as To-Go service. The new full service bar features specialty beverages including Marys and Margaritas, Mixed Cocktails, seasonal Beers and Wines and Smoothies.
The Chandler location is at 2800 W. Chandler Blvd.Chandler, Ariz. Restaurant hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week. Breakfast in Mimi's Quick Cafe is available Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Lunch items are available Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bakery, sweets, espresso and coffee and tea menu items are available all day.
