The Citigroup Financial Services Conference

COLUMBUS, Ohio, January 18, 2007 -- Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (NASDAQ: HBAN; www.huntington.com) will be participating in the Citigroup Financial Services Conference on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at The Waldorf Astoria, New York City.  Mr. Tom Hoaglin, Chairman, President and CEO, and Mr. Don Kimble, Executive Vice President and CFO are scheduled to present to analysts and investors at 8:00 a.m. ET.  Hoaglin and Kimble will discuss business and financial performance and strategies, and the presentation will include forward-looking statements.
