Huntington Bancshares Incorporated Decreases Its Prime Rate To 6.00 Percent

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- January 30, 2008 -- Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (Nasdaq: HBAN) announced that its prime rate is decreasing from 6.50% to 6.00%, effective, Jan. 31, 2008.

The rate was last changed on Jan. 22, 2008 when Huntington decreased its prime rate from 7.25% to 6.50%.
