Huntington Bancshares Incorporated Increases Its Prime Rate To 7.50 Percent

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- January 31, 2006 -- Huntington Bancshares Incorporated announced that its prime rate increased from 7.25% to 7.50% effective today, January 31, 2006. The rate was last changed on December 13, 2005, when Huntington increased its prime rate from 7.00% to 7.25%.
