Huntington's Online Banking Rated Sixth in the Nation

Huntington Has Ranked in the Top 10 Since 2003, According to One of the Foremost Industry Measurements

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- March 23, 2009 -- Huntington Bank's online banking has been ranked the sixth best site in the country by Keynote Systems in its first quarter 2009 Banker Scorecard. Known as The Mobile and Internet Performance Authority™, Keynote is the global leader in mobile and internet test and measurement services. Since 1998, the Keynote Banker Scorecard has served as an industry benchmark for financial sites.

Specifically, Huntington.com was given high marks for its privacy and security, ease of use, functionality, quality and availability. It also scored high on helping customers to learn and plan, open accounts and conduct transactions.

"At Huntington we understand that our customers want a secure, highly functional yet easy-to-use online banking site," said Mary Navarro, regional banking group president at Huntington. "We continue to invest in technology that improves service and offers convenience to our customers whether they are banking online, on the phone or at our banking offices."

To give customers even more convenient access to their accounts, Huntington also recently rolled out Huntington Text Banking. With Huntington's Text Banking and Mobile Banking, customers can view up-to-the-minute account balances and history for Checking Accounts, Savings Accounts, Lines of Credit and Loans. To enroll, existing customers can simply log into Huntington Online Banking and select the Mobile Banking tab.
