Huntington and Walgreens Ink ATM Deal CONTACT: COLUMBUS, Ohio -- April 5, 2005 -- Huntington Bancshares
Incorporated (Nasdaq: HBAN) and Walgreen Co. (NYSE: WAG; Nasdaq) have
closed a deal that will add 99 Huntington ATMs to Walgreens stores across
Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Installation will begin in April, and the
deal will bring Huntington's total ATM coverage to over 800 machines. "We are always looking for ways to expand our ATM
network to make it easier for customers to bank with Huntington,"
said Mary Navarro, retail group head. "To accomplish that with
a company the caliber of Walgreens is a success for Huntington that
aligns with our corporate vision of delivering the best service." In addition to the Walgreens deal, Huntington plans to
