COLUMBUS, Ohio – May 8, 2006 – Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (NASDAQ: HBAN; www.huntington.com) will be participating in the UBS Global Financial Services Conference on Monday, May 15, 2006 at the Grand Hyatt New York in New York City. Mr. Tom Hoaglin, Chairman, President and CEO, and Mr. Don Kimble, Executive Vice President and CFO are scheduled to present to analysts and investors at 8:10 a.m. ET.
