Huntington Bank Names Jeff Rosen Executive Vice President And
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- May 11, 2006 -- Huntington Bancshares, Incorporated (Nasdaq: HBAN) today announced that Jeff Rosen has been named executive vice president and manager of Huntington Bank's business banking group. In this role, he will focus on providing the resources and support that the business bankers and banking offices need to give optimal service to small business customers. Prior to joining Huntington, Rosen spent 12 years with US Bank, most recently as executive vice president of community development. He also launched business banking at Star Bank, which later became US Bank. Rosen began his banking career at National City Corp., where he spent eight years in management in the consumer banking division. Huntington's senior vice president for retail and commercial banking, Mary Navarro, feels Rosen's breadth of experience and passion for business banking is an ideal fit for the role. "Business Banking is an important part of the services we offer our customers," said Navarro. "Huntington wanted someone with the experience and skill set to continue to build the momentum we've been gaining in this area. Jeff brings a wealth of expertise that will undoubtedly continue to differentiate Huntington's exceptional service in the marketplace." Rosen's commitment to banking and the community is clear. He serves on the Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) CRA committee and previously served as chairman of the CBA small business committee. He currently serves on the board of Social Compact in Washington D.C., as a trustee for the University of Cincinnati's Economic Center for Education, and on the advisory board for the local chapter of Local Initiative Support Coalition (LISC). Rosen earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from The Ohio State University. He is also a graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the University of Virginia.
