Huntington Launches New Business Online Website CONTACT: COLUMBUS, Ohio -- August 24, 2005 -- More than 1,900 businesses have already signed up for Business Online, the new business banking Web site introduced this summer by Huntington Bancshares Inc. (www.huntington.com). Business Online allows Huntington's business customers to connect to the Huntington products and services they use to run their business. Through a single point of entry, customers have up-to-the minute account information and transaction capabilities, expanded customized reporting and round-the-clock access. "Our goal for the entire first year was to enroll 1,000 businesses," said Pam Erickson, Business Online manager. "Nearly doubling that mark in the first three months says loud and clear that our team of in-house designers met their goal of creating a convenient, easy-to-use site that meets the needs of our business customers." "Business Online goes beyond the standard online banking services that businesses are accustomed to," Erickson continued. "Our business customers have more control, easier access and greater detail through robust reporting, the ability to customize reports, powerful research capabilities and more." Steve Cross, owner of Cross Creek Camping Resort, was one of about 50 businesses - large and small - that participated in a spring pilot of the site.
