Huntington Bancshares Incorporated Decreases Its Prime Rate To 4.00 Percent

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- October 30, 2008 -- Huntington Bancshares Incorporated announced that its prime rate is decreasing from 4.50% to 4.00%, effective, October 31, 2008. 

The rate was last changed on October 9, 2008 when Huntington decreased its prime rate from 5.00% to 4.50%.
