Sky Acquires Young & Merrill Agency

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- June 13, 2007 -- Sky Financial Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYF) announced today the acquisition of The Young & Merrill Agency, Inc., located in Salem, Ohio. Young & Merrill is a full-service insurance agency that specializes in property and casualty insurance as well as life, health, pensions and other financial services. The agency was merged with and into Sky Insurance, Inc., Sky Financial's insurance agency affiliate, effective June 1, 2007.
