and 2009 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

COLUMBUS, Ohio – May 1, 2009 – Pinnacle Data Systems, Inc. (PDSi) (NYSE Amex: PNS), today announced dates for the release of its 2009 first quarter financial results and conference call and 2009 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

2009 First Quarter Earnings Release

PDSi plans to release its 2009 first quarter financial results on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 following the market close.

2009 First Quarter Conference Call

Management will host a conference call for investors and investment professionals on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. ET.  Mike Sayre, President and CEO, and Nick Tomashot, Chief Financial Officer, will discuss the Company’s 2009 first quarter financial performance, PDSi’s business strategy and actions taken to achieve profitable growth.

2009 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

PDSi’s 2009 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at the Company’s headquarters, 6600 Port Road, Groveport, Ohio 43125.  The purpose of the meeting is to elect three Class I Directors and to transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting.  Following adjournment, members of the management team will present an update on the Company.
