PDSi Successful in ISO Recertifications

Achieves upgrade to latest TL 9000 registration

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- June 25, 2007 -- Pinnacle Data Systems, Inc. (PDSi) (AMEX: PNS) today announced it has successfully completed a full recertification audit of its quality systems registrations, which include its ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, ISO 13485 Medical Devices-Quality Management Systems, and TL9000, a telecommunications standard published by the Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QuEST) Forum. PDSi was confirmed by the independent auditors to be in compliance with all of these quality standards, and in addition, PDSi’s TL9000 registration was updated to the latest release, TL9000: 4.0.

In addition to the general quality management standards of ISO 9001 and the environmental governance of ISO 14001, PDSi operates under the guidelines of ISO 13485, which addresses specific regulatory requirements associated with the medical device industry. Several large medical system original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) include PDSi-built computer platforms in their high-end diagnostic and analytic products.

In concert with ISO 9001, TL9000 certification establishes quality systems to protect the integrity and use of telecom equipment and directs how PDSi serves its many telecommunications customers. The upgrade to this registration is consistent with PDSi’s daily involvement with major network equipment OEMs and data communications independent software vendors (ISVs).

These certifications reflect PDSi’s ongoing commitment to quality and place it among a limited number of companies that have achieved all of these registrations. PDSi first obtained its ISO 9001:2000 registration in 2000. ISO 14001 registration was first awarded in 2003 and is now at the IS0 14001:2004 revision. The Company’s medical device ISO 13485:2003 certification was attained in 2004, and it initially achieved ISO TL 9000 registration in 2005. PDSi retains these registrations through continual focus on quality, documentation, metrics and root cause analysis. Both independent agencies as well as PDSi’s OEM customers regularly audit compliance.
