Rocky Inks Deal With Garlands to Distribute Hunting Gear in United Kingdom
NELSONVILLE, Ohio -- July 9, 2009 -- ROCKY Brands, Inc., a footwear and apparel manufacturer, recently announced it has entered into a new, multi-year distribution agreement with United Kingdom-based Garlands, a premier distributor of hunting apparel and sporting goods.
Mike Brooks, Chairman and CEO of ROCKY Brands, said he will begin shipping product to Garlands this fall. Garlands distributes products to more than 1,000 retailers throughout England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland.
"Garlands has been in the outdoor business for thirty years," said Brooks. "They are the leading purveyor of shooting sports gear in the United Kingdom, and that is why they are such a great fit for ROCKY."

Brooks added that this agreement was part of the company's continuing strategy to distribute its sporting goods throughout Europe. In 2008, ROCKY entered into a multi-year agreement with Rapala VMC Oyj for distribution of ROCKY-branded hunting boots in Eastern Europe and the Baltic States.
